Today I’ve got something really exciting for you: the very first riflescope from the brand-new Anschütz Optics line has arrived. And I’ve already had the chance to thoroughly test the CLASSIC 2-7×32!

Classic quality – For short to mid-range use
The Anschütz Optics CLASSIC 2-7×32 is a scope for shooters who don’t need all the bells and whistles but prefer to focus on what really matters: a clear image, simple operation, and reliable performance. With its variable magnification from 2x to 7x, this optic covers everything you need for close to mid-range shooting – whether you’re target shooting in the garden or casually plinking in the attic.
Despite the compact 32 mm objective lens, you still get a solid field of view from 15.5 to 4.7 meters at 100 meters. That’s a big plus when aiming quickly or navigating tight terrain. The CLASSIC 2-7×32 features a 1-inch main tube (25.4 mm), so you’ll have plenty of mounting options. Suitable mounts for Weaver or dovetail rails can be found directly on the product page in my shop. Making this scope compatible with almost any air rifle setup.
MIL Dot reticle & parallax adjustment starting at 4.6 meters
The MIL Dot reticle is a proven classic – clean, simple, and highly functional. It’s perfect for sport shooters or anyone who likes using holdover points.
But what really caught my attention is the parallax adjustment, which starts at just 4.6 meters – ideal for airgun shooters and those who like to shoot at shorter distances.
The fast-focus eyepiece also works just as it should – bringing the reticle into sharp focus in seconds. The turrets are protected by screw-on caps, and with adjustment clicks of 1/10 MRAD and a total adjustment range of 8.7 MRAD, you can make precise and consistent corrections with ease.
Build quality you’d expect from Anschütz
The CLASSIC 2-7×32 is fully outdoor-ready, with IP67 certification making it dustproof and waterproof. Rain, fog, or woodland use? No worries here. The body is neatly finished, and the zoom ring feels smooth and solid.
The lenses are fully multi-coated (FMC), delivering a bright, high-contrast image – even in less-than-ideal lighting conditions.

My conclusion
Simple, solid, well-thought-out – that’s the Anschütz Optics CLASSIC 2-7×32 in a nutshell. If you’re looking for a scope without unnecessary gimmicks that performs well for both target shooting and casual plinking, you’ve found it.
What really makes it interesting for airgun fans is the parallax starting at 4.6 meters – that opens up a lot of possibilities. And all this comes in a compact package with a low overall weight.
