Classic features – reliably executed
The magnification of Anschütz Optics CLASSIC 3-9×40 ranges from 3x to 9x, making it ideal for short to mid-range shooting. The 40 mm objective lens offers a good amount of light transmission without making the scope bulky. With a field of view from 13 to 4.2 m at 100 m, you can still keep your surroundings in view while aiming – a clear advantage for hunting or tracking moving targets.
MIL Dot reticle, parallax, focus & adjustments
The scope features a classic, non-illuminated MIL Dot reticle. If you prefer using holdover points or value a simple, uncluttered sight picture, you’ll feel right at home here.
The parallax adjustment starts at 9 meters and goes all the way to infinity – giving you a wide range of application. The turrets are protected by screw-on caps and adjust in 1/10 MRAD clicks. You get a total adjustment range of 8.7 MRAD.
The fast-focus eyepiece lets you quickly and precisely bring the reticle into sharp focus – this works smoothly in real use.
Solid construction and weatherproof
The scope has a sturdy build with a 25.4 mm / 1″ main tube, making it compatible with many standard mounting options. Thanks to its IP67 rating, it’s both dustproof and waterproof, which is especially important for hunting and outdoor use.
The fully multi-coated lenses (FMC) provide a crisp, high-contrast image – even in less-than-ideal lighting. The zoom ring has a pleasant resistance and allows for precise adjustment.
