Today I want to show you a riflescope that quickly became one of my favorites. The Anschütz Optics AIR PRO 3-12×44 was developed specifically for use with air rifles and offers exactly the features you want for precise shooting: clear optics, robust construction, and equipment you won’t find everywhere in this price range.
Versatile target acquisition with the AIR PRO 3-12×44
Whether it’s precise hits at 10 meters or clean aiming at over 50 meters – the Anschütz Optics AIR PRO 3-12×44 (64510) performs impressively at any distance. The 3–12x magnification combined with the 44 mm objective lens delivers a bright, detailed image. Fully multi-coated (FMC) lenses ensure crisp contrast and prevent image blur, even at higher zoom levels.
A particularly handy feature is the side parallax adjustment starting at 10 m. This allows the scope to be perfectly tuned for short and medium ranges, making it ideal for both competitive shooting and plinking. The AP MIL reticle offers a fine, easy-to-read structure for reliable aiming at even the smallest targets.
Rugged design for continuous use
The 30 mm main tube fits standard mounts and offers plenty of stability. With its IP-67 rating, the scope is dustproof and waterproof, and the nitrogen filling prevents lens fogging during temperature changes.
With an eye relief of 100 mm, aiming remains comfortable even during extended shooting sessions. The zoom ring operates smoothly, offers plenty of grip, and can be adjusted securely even in cold weather. Weighing 670 g, the scope provides a well-balanced feel on the rifle without making it front-heavy.
And for challenging lighting conditions, a 6-step illuminated reticle is available. Perfect for accurate shooting at dusk or in changing light.
Precise operation and comfortable handling
Fine 1/10 MRAD clicks, a 26.2 MRAD adjustment range, and the practical Zero-Stop function ensure precise adjustments, repeatable settings, and full control. No matter how often you change distances.
The included parallax wheel and zoom lever make operation even more comfortable and allow quick adjustments, even when wearing gloves or in a competition setting. Also included with the Anschütz Optics AIR PRO 3-12×44 are flip caps and a sunshade.
My conclusion
The Anschütz Optics AIR PRO 3-12×44 is, for me, a true all-rounder: robust, versatile, and optically clear. If you’re looking for a scope that delivers precision at both short and medium distances, while remaining compact and coming with plenty of included extras, this is well worth a closer look.
