One of the most beautiful air rifles from Diana, in my opinion, is Diana NTEC 340 Luxus. It is visually captivating due to the 18-karat gold-plated trigger as well as a high-quality walnut stock.
Specifications of Diana 340 NTEC Luxus
The first stage travel, trigger pull, and trigger weight of the T06 trigger are adjustable. I think, T06 is the best trigger in the recreational sector. The only real competitor is the Weihrauch match trigger Rekord. The NTEC gas technology provides consistent performance. In my test, I shoot with the 7.5 J model. Diana 340 NTEC is also available with up to 22 joules. In Germany, you can only own the more powerful one with a gun license.
Thanks to the NTEC technology, the air rifle is very easy to cock. When shooting, there’s a nice recoil that I would classify as light to medium.
The automatic safety activates automatically when the barrel is pushed down. It can be reached comfortably with the thumb. Both left- and right-handed shooters can shoot Diana 340 comfortably thanks to the double-sided cheek piece.
Scopes up to an overall length of approx. 16.1″ (41 cm) can be mounted on the riveted 11 mm prism rail. Longer scopes are not recommended, otherwise you will have problems when pushing down the barrel.
The rubberized butt plate is ventilated. This makes sense with a power of more than 7.5 joules since the recoil is dampened and won’t be passed on to the shoulder to its full extent.
For me, Diana NTEC 340 Luxus is one of the most beautiful air rifles I have ever shot. A collector as well as a fan of air rifles will find it hard to pass by this model.
Best wishes!
Yours, Andi
