Today I’ll show you the DonnyFL Shroud for Edgun Leshiy 2. Together with a DonnyFL Ronin, you are able to turn your Edgun Leshiy 2 into a great looking air rifle that is also quieter than the one with the original silencer.
Now let’s take a look at the possible combinations you get with this shroud.
The different shroud versions
In my store on www.jabolo.de you can get two different DonnyFL Shrouds for your Leshiy. For one thing, there’s the 9.8” (250mm) shroud, and recently we’ve also added the 13.7” (350mm) shroud.
What makes those two shrouds special is that you can attach both, the shorter and longer version, to your Edgun Leshiy 2 with a 9.8” (250mm) barrel. If you have a Leshiy with a 13.7” (350mm) long barrel, you can logically only use the 13.7” (350mm) shroud.
The installation
The installation of the parts is really easy. Loosen the two screws on your Leshiy 2 silencer. Then you can completely remove the silencer and have only the barrel in front of you. The supplied round base from DonnyFL is then slipped over the barrel and placed over the screw sockets. You can’t do anything wrong, as it only fits in one direction. Then fasten the base with the two screws provided. Now screw the shroud onto the base thread. That’s it.
Silencing options
Now it’s time for the silencer. We can offer you two suitable solutions. One is the DonnyFL Ronin screw-on silencer I already mentioned in the text above. The other solution is the brand new and incredibly cool DonnyFL FatBoy. It’s a bit shorter than Ronin but makes an incredibly cool impression on the Leshiy.
Which combination you choose is up to you. That’s the nice thing: hardly any modified Leshiy looks like the other. Because of the great layout, there are a lot of different ways to customize your rifle.
The noise level with shroud
I have tested the different combinations for you to give you an overview of the noise levels. My test rifle was Leshiy 2 with 7.5 joule and a 13.7” (350mm) barrel.
I meassured the following noise levels:
- Original 9.8” (250mm) silencer: 94.1dB
- Original 13.7” (350mm) silencer: 84.5 dB
- 250mm DonnyFL Shroud + FatBoy: 90.6 dB
- 350mm DonnyFL Shroud + FatBoy: 81.6 dB
- 250mm DonnyFL Shroud + Ronin: 85.2 dB
- 350mm DonnyFL Shroud + Ronin: 80.3 dB
