Today I will show you Huggett Astille, a new silencer from the British manufacturer Huggett. I already showed you Huggett Belita and Huggett Snipe in an earlier review. However, Astille is different from the other models.

The design of Huggett Astille

The silencer looks a bit like a cigar. The shape is called “Perfecto”. Take a look at the picture and you will know what I mean.

Huggett Astille is special due to its modular design. You can extend the silencer by using an extender. It provides one more silencing chamber and makes the air rifle even quieter. If you want, you can even add more extensions. This is entirely up to you.

The performance of Huggett Astille

The silencer reduced the gunshot of my Steyr LG110 HFT Hunting from 96 dB to 77.7 dB in my tests. This is an incredibly good result.

The workmanship of the Huggett, as with the other silencers, is excellent. If you have an air rifle with a matching design, you should take a closer look at this silencer.

Legal information on silencers

In Germany, silencers are only approved for F type air rifles. If you have a firearm certificate that allows you to shoot air rifles with more than 7.5 joules, you are not allowed to equip them with a silencer.

In other countries it is completely forbidden to mount silencers. Please pay attention to the legislation of your country if you are not shooting with an air rifle within Germany.
