The 7.5 Joule version of FX Impact M3 is coming to Germany! That’s really good news.

I can still clearly remember the year 2015. At that time, the first FX Impact left the factory in Sweden. From day one, I was impressed with the design and engineering of FX Impact. However, the dream of owning an Impact was infinitely distant back then. I didn’t have the necessary permissions to purchase one and there was no chance of a 7.5 joule version at all. I longingly watched the videos of famous YouTubers and was envious that the could shoot such extraordinary rifles.

Of course, we have many extremely good air rifles here in Germany, but the tactical design was something completely new.

Now two model lines and seven years later, it’s finally here! FX Impact M3 is available for purchase from my partner www.gogun.de.

This is FX Impact M3

FX Airguns has incorporated all the innovations and technologies available in FX Impact M3. Nothing was withheld and the result is a stunning air rifle. I’ll start listing the special features one by one.

The rifle practically never runs out of air. Thanks to a 480cc bottle, the air supply is enough for several hundred shots. If you want to tell me the exact number, go ahead! It was too much for me 😉

The magazine holds an incredible 34 rounds. Compared to other magazines I know of it is just huge and seems to never run out. Loading the magazine is super easy and convenient. You take off the cover, clamp the inner part of the magazine and load a pellet directly into the position at the exit. Then the clamping of the magazine is automatically maintained. From then on, the other 33 pellets can be easily inserted into the magazine.

FX Impact M3 likes soft lead best. No matter if it is from FX Airguns, Edgun, AirArms or the original JSB. It is just important that it’s soft.

The cocking lever

When you buy your Impact, the cocking lever will be on the right side. However, it can be switched to the left side quite easily.

The lever is spring-loaded. This means that you can comfortably cock the rifle and the lever will automatically return to the starting position.

Since the lever is nice and short and perfectly positioned, you can keep your hand on the grip while still cocking comfortably. I’ve never had it this comfortable with any other air rifle. This is one of the absolute highlights for me!

There’s no risk of slipping when cocking since the surface of the lever is grippy.

The trigger of FX Impact M3

Impact M3’s trigger is fully adjustable. The trigger weight, which is set to 1.54 lbs. (700g), first stage travel and trigger pull are adjustable.

The trigger blade is also completely customizable to the shooter. You can move it forward, backward, up, and down. Additionally, it can be tilted to the left and right. So, even the most demanding shooter should have no wishes left unfulfilled.

Accessories for FX Impact M3

You can attach all the accessories you need to the numerous Picatinny rails. The lower Picatinny rail is perfect for a bipod.

You can mount a scope on the upper Picatinny rail. Here, too, FX Airguns has put some thought into the design and given this rail a 20 MOA tilt. Therefore, you don’t need to purchase a more expensive height-adjustable mount. Depending on the scope, you can then choose the suitable height of your mount.

There is a 1/2″ UNF thread on the barrel end to mount a silencer. I recommend you the DonnyFL silencers which are available in my shop www.jabolo.de. This way you can give your FX Impact the perfect look and make it really quiet as well.

Like FX Dreamline, the rifle is supplied in a high-quality FX Airguns case. It’s pretty compact and can be easily stowed away.

What distinguishes the F model from the more powerful version?

Due to my firearms dealer license, I’m fortunate enough to be able to test powerful air rifles. For testing, I received a caliber 5.5mm rifle directly from FX Airguns from Sweden. HERE in the video, you can watch my first shooting test on the shooting range. There I tested it at 50 yards (about 45 meters) and 90 yards (about 80 meters). This shows the outstanding precision that this rifle has.

The more powerful version has a 72cc power plenum. Despite the high air consumption, it ensures that FX Impact M3 always has enough air behind the regulator, even during fast firing sequences. With the 7.5J version, the regulator pressure isn’t set as high. There doesn’t need to be as much air flowing through the regulator for the next shot to have the same power. For this reason, the power plenum was omitted from the F version.

The power setting

The Quick Tuning system is found on both versions. However, you must be aware that you are, of course, not allowed to tune the F version above the maximum permitted power of 7.5 joules. Nevertheless, it is possible to set the exact desired power for the rifle with the two controls.

If you shoot at 10y (10m) in your apartment or attic, you don’t need the maximum power of 7.5 joules. The wheel numbered 1-16 is the macro adjuster. The small wheel that you can set from 1-5 is the micro adjuster. This allows you to make extremely precise adjustments to the power.

It’s extremely important that you don’t adjust the settings on the Quick Tuning system when the rifle is cocked. Otherwise, you run the risk of damaging the rifle.

The two regulators can also be adjusted.

However, please leave the first regulator at the factory setting. The second is adjusted behind the trigger. You can only adjust it downward, meaning that you can only reduce the power with an adjustment. I would leave it set as it is. If you want to make fine adjustments to the rifle, use the Quick Tune system.

FX Airguns has done an excellent transformation of the rifle, as they did with FX Dreamline, and hasn’t just lowered the power.

FX Impact is of high quality, precise and especially the handling is fully convincing. The cocking lever feels great in the hand and is extremely comfortable to use. You don’t notice at all how quickly the 34 shots are fired one after the other.

Once again, I’m thrilled.
